Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This policy explains what information GigMetrics collects and what happens to it. GigMetrics is operated by Ken Lewis, LLC (“we”, “us”). It should be read with our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account: your email address, how you sign in (email and password, or Google), your plan, and whether your account has admin access.
  • Profile and settings: display name, timezone, vehicle and fuel details, cost settings, goals, driver preferences, screenshot-retention choice and similar settings.
  • Driving records: trips, pay, tips, expenses, fuel, mileage, time, stores, markets and platforms you record.
  • Offer analysis: offer details you enter or capture, your Take/Pass decisions and reasons, and comparisons between predicted and actual results.
  • Rewards tracking: Spark Rewards tier and points you record.
  • Screenshots: offer screenshots you upload or send through Quick Capture, and the details read from them.
  • Voice: short recordings you make for Voice Entry (see section 4).
  • Feedback and messages: feedback you send (with the page, device type and screen width), and which in-app messages you have acknowledged.
  • Subscription: from Stripe, your plan status, billing-period dates, whether cancellation is scheduled, and Stripe's reference numbers for your customer and subscription. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Technical: error reports and records of AI feature usage (see sections 4 and 7).

2. How we use it

To provide GigMetrics: analyze offers, keep your trip and earnings history, personalize your analytics, run the AI features you ask for, manage your subscription, keep the service secure and working, prevent abuse, and answer support requests. We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising.

3. Screenshots

Offer screenshots can show other information, such as store addresses or customer details. GigMetrics is set up to read only offer details and to ignore customer personal information, but the image itself may contain it.

Screenshot Import stores the image in private storage only you can access. It is deleted automatically based on your setting: right after processing, after 7 days (the default), or after 30 days. The details read from it stay with your records until you delete them. Quick Capture holds the image temporarily while it is analyzed and discards it once the result is ready or fails; the analysis result link expires after about 30 minutes.

4. AI processing

When you use an AI feature, the needed information is sent through the Lovable AI gateway to AI model providers (currently Google Gemini models, and an OpenAI model for voice transcription):

  • Screenshot Import and Quick Capture: the screenshot image.
  • Voice Entry: your recording, to turn it into text, and then the text, to fill in the entry. We do not store the recording; we keep a fingerprint of it for a short time to avoid paying twice for the same request, and keep the fields you save.
  • Coach, Insights and Strategy: your question plus summaries of your recent trips and offer decisions.

We do not store the AI prompts or replies, except short-lived cached results used to avoid duplicate requests. We keep usage records (feature, model, outcome, size and timing) to manage costs and limits. These providers process data under their own terms; we make no promise about how they use or retain it beyond those terms.

5. Service providers we share with

  • Lovable (hosting, database, sign-in and AI gateway) and the AI providers above.
  • Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Stripe, for payments. Through Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe (and its Link service) acts as merchant of record and processes your payment, order and tax information under its own privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
  • Sentry, for error reports, which can include your account ID and email so we can fix problems.

We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect the service and its users.

6. Cookies and browser storage

GigMetrics uses your browser's storage only to keep you signed in, remember small preferences (such as the sidebar and whether you've seen a goal message), and recover from loading errors. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party behavioral tracking.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your account information and records until you delete them or your account. Screenshots follow your retention setting (section 3). Error reports are kept by Sentry under its retention settings. Stripe keeps payment records as required by law and its own policies.

8. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in Settings. This permanently removes your profile, trips, offers, decisions, goals, rewards records, feedback, message receipts, stored screenshots, subscription record and usage records from GigMetrics. Records of admin actions are kept with your identity removed. Information already held by Stripe, error-report services or routine backups may remain for a limited time under those services' policies. If you have an active Pro subscription, deleting your account cancels it immediately so no future recurring charges are made. Charges already processed are not automatically refunded.

9. Security

Your records can only be read by your own account. Plan features are checked on our servers, payment updates from Stripe are verified before use, and service keys are kept secret on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee security.

10. Children

GigMetrics is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has an account, contact support@gigmetrics.app.

11. Your choices

You can view and edit most of your information in the app. To ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your information, email support@gigmetrics.app.

12. Where GigMetrics operates

GigMetrics is operated from the United States and is currently intended primarily for users in the United States. Your information is processed in the United States.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will change the “Last updated” date above. For important changes we will tell you in the app. Contact us at support@gigmetrics.app.
